Marillion eWeb Newsletter : Los Trios Marillos
We have some good news and some bad news for you. The bad news is that we have had to cancel the North American tour this summer. We had been offered some festivals and so we had decided to put a tour in alongside these festivals. One by one the festivals fell through and we made the decision to pull the rest of the planned shows. Grr..
So what's the good news we hear you say?
Well Mr. h, Steve R and Pete T are still coming over the pond to see you! "Los Trios Marillos" as they shall ever more be called are planning to do 6 or 7 acoustic shows during the middle two weeks of June. We are working on the dates at the moment and these should go up on the website within the next few days. These concerts will consist of an acoustic show of about an hour and 15 minutes and the chance to hang around and chat with "Los Trios". We are also planning to tie in some record store signing sessions and some interviews/acoustic sessions at radio stations. The "Marbles On The Road" DVD is being released to retail in North America on May 10th so we can tie in all the promotion at the same time, whilst hopefully giving you all a chance to attend some intimate gigs. (The cities we hope to include are New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Toronto and Washington DC).
If any of you know someone at a radio station that would be interested in having the boys play live in the studio, then please contact them and ask them to email Lucy Jordache
Christine will be contacting all the North American Street Team members very soon to ask for your help in spreading the word about our visit. If any of you want to sign up to be a street team member please go to www.marillion.com/street.
Sorry about not coming with the whole band - we had no choice :o/
but MOST of us look forward to seeing you soon :o]
Hooray etc..
H, Pete, Steve, Mark and "The Count"
