Volume 3 in the From Dusk 'til Dot series of Racket Club Demos, featuring the making of This Strange Engine.
Large portions of this album were written during the Afraid of Sunlight sessions, but were not followed through for the final album. One exception is 'Accidental Man' Which was actually demoed for Afraid of Sunlight but never recorded. Rather than provide the demo from the This Strange Engine sessions, we have instead provided this rare (and often requested!) demo.
Congratulations to Paul White from Woolston, England, who won the Racket Album Title Contest and named this album.
Congratulations also go to Mark Hübler from Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany for naming the series.

Important Information about
"Making Of" CDs |
All our 'Making of' albums contain material taken from album writing sessions. The majority material was recorded in stereo only (onto Cassette, DAT, or Mini Disc), and later transferred to computer.
The sound quality varies from track to track, as all these recordings were made solely as a reference for ourselves to use throughout the writing sessions - they were originally made "for our ears only."
We had no control over the balance of individual instruments once recorded, so if some tracks seems excessively noisy, the balance of the instruments is a bit strange, or you hear some odd pops or clicks, it's not a faulty CD!
Please keep this in mind before purchasing this CD.
