| As part of the FRC Day Out, we decided to record the warm-up show from the Marbles world tour and release it as the first live recording (and first public performance) of brand new material from Marbles (well, apart from a few tracks from the "Don't Hurt Yourself" single...). Because it was a warm-up, the band tried to rehearse as many set list contenders for the tour as possible, resulting in a VERY long set - just under 3 hours! Many of these tracks were later dropped from the set list altogether. |

| Audio Quality |
| The overall sound of this show is very good, but because it was the first time many of these songs were ever played, the mix is occasionally uneven (especially the vocal, which tends to be a bit on the loud side). |
| As a response to several email queries regarding this title, we can assure our members that your CD 2 is NOT faulty! We had originally stated on this page that there were "pops" and "clicks" throughout CD 2 - to clarify this, there are many tape data errors during the first few songs on this disc, and other occasional glitches throughout the show. These errors were a problem with the DAT recorder itself, and unfortunately could not be repaired. Our options were to either leave the errors in, or remove the songs that contained major errors from the release completely. In the spirit of the FRC, rather than remove these tracks altogether, we have decided to leave them in with the (unfortunate) errors. We hope it will not affect your listening too much! |
