| Racket Club Studio Update : Beginning Writing Number 12 |
| The band are now firmly stuck in writing mode... if you can call it that. It took a while... Ian and Pete were (and still are!) recording with Ben Castle when the rest of the band aren't around. In between, Rothers has brought in an immense setup of all thing gadgety, including (my favourite) a lava lamp - necessary for ALL musical exploits. Mark has picked up a new toy (and I quickly followed suit!) and has also been working at home. H decided to take home some equipment as well, but ended up destroying all of it in some way or another... poor Stewart has been delivering fried components all over England for repair. |
| Writing is an odd process, and it's a rare occasion when the whole band actually get into the same room and make music... they usually wander about discussing share trading or sunny beaches, while Pete will always be looping up little licks, and then finding his way behing the drum kit to play along to his new creation... But things are starting to take shape, and the band have offered up some of their new ideas for you to listen to. |
| Mark's off to Egypt, though, and Ian and Ben still have guitars to lay down on their album, so writing is sporadic at the moment... but Stewart is furiously busy working on the soundtrack to the upcoming Racket video! |
