| An Introduction |
| We began Racket Records as an extension of our Web Fan Clubs and a way to provide fans with something rare, and personal - straight from the band. As we continued to get more and more requests for live recordings, hard-to-find releases, and more collectibles. We started the Front Row Club in 2002 for collectors, or anyone else with a very keen interest in Marillion |
| We are choosing live Marillion recordings and releasing them - warts and all - for your listening pleasure. The standards we are using to judge them by are a much looser interpretation than for our normal Racket releases, but at the same time striving to provide much better quality recordings than "bootlegs" specifically for hardcore fans and collectors who need their fix! |
| With the recent advent of high-capacity portable digital media players and the increase in available broadband internet services world-wide we have moved new Front Row Club Releases from a physical CD format over to a download-only format. This will make a larger number of shows available that individually may not have had a wide-spread appeal large enough to justify pressing it to CD... In short we can make more shows available because there are no limitations other than hard-drive space and what's in our box of tapes! |
| We've also designed the Club so that the choice of releases is yours from the start. Using the Credits system you can hand-pick your personal selection of shows (or ALL of them, if you're so inclined!) on CD or Download to suit your tastes. We will aim to continue to evolve the FRC with its membership to and release specific titles all based on member feedback. |

| Releases - What and How Many? |
| New 'Club Releases' (for short) will continue to be made available as downloads throughout the year. These may not be quite as frequent as previous FRC releases, but Racket Records Credits also allow you to take advantage of any other Racket Records Downloads as well, so there will be plenty of new material available to you! |
| The band members are directly involved with this project, and help pick the final the releases. We also have based a large number of our Club Releases based on member requests, and are also happy to accept recordings that you may have for consideration (as with FRC-036) |
| We will strive to make at least 3 new titles available each year, with additional releases made available if possible, but cannot guarantee this. |
| Regarding shows prior to 1989, we released the limited-edition Curtain Call boxed set in cooperation with Fish, which has now sold out. While we cannot guarantee any future releases from this period, the new download structure may allow us to provide new material at some point in the future. |
| All Club Releases (previously knows as 'Back-Issues') that are still available on CD will continue to be made available while supplies last. ONLY when all CD supplies are exhausted will Download versions of the releases be available. With few exceptions, we intend to make ALL previous Club Releases available to everyone, indefinitely! |

| A Final Friendly Word |
| The principles of Club Releases are simplicity and fairness, assuming goodwill between Marillion and Front Row Club fans. We welcome informed appraisal, critical commentary, and impartial skepticism, subject to the operations of courtesy and common decency. |
| The Front Row Club section on the Marillion Online Forums is a great place to voice your opinions as well as get information about previous releases, whether you are a new member looking to build a collection on back-issues, or just considering what the releases have to offer. |
| If you are concerned we are intent upon snaffling your hard-earned pay by supplying large quantities of sonic turkeys (just like bootleggers, that is) better avoid Club Releases. Some of the rarities you will be offered may well be less than perfect! If you are likely to be resentful, critical or nasty about multiple similar releases of the same group, or their material, better avoid Club Releases |
| The Front Row Club Releases are intended for those with "Front Row" passion for the band and its touring history. And, of course, the future! |
